Email templates are a great way to send emails from Dynamics 365 using the same format. But sometimes, although your email subject line looks fine in when viewing your template, the email may arrive with a <br> (the HTML code for a line break) in the subject line.
How do you get rid of this? There are two possible solutions.
- The line break is added by the browser you are using. The first step is attempt to recreate your template using a different browser. Internet Explorer is recommended to resolve this particular issue.
- If the above step didn’t solve the issue, or you don’t have another browser available, you can solve the issue with some additional code.In the subject line of your email template, add <!—-> to the end, which ignores any “invisible” HTML, so the line break won’t show up.
Now your template should arrive free of any HTML code!
