Happy CRM'ing!
I installed Power Mailchimp on my Dynamics CRM 2011 web application. I am trying to send the first email blast. However, the Send Test and Send Now are showing as disabled buttons.I have created a campaign and add marketing list to it. What am I missing as step?
Remember to check the "Activate all processes..." checkbox upon import of PowerMailChimp. Now you should be able to send the blast.
I want to be respectful of people who unsubscribe to my newsletter, if they unsubscribe through MailChimp, how does this info get back into the CRM, where is it stored, and how do I know that I am not inadvertently keeping that person on a distribution list?
Hi Danielle,
When you use the PowerMailChimp add-on for Microsoft Dynamics
CRM, contacts or leads who unsubscribe from your MailChimp campaigns will be
marked as “Do Not Allow Bulk Email” in their CRM records. You can then set up
your marketing list queries to only pull in leads/contacts who have the “Bulk
Email” radio button set to “allow” in CRM. That will ensure that you do not
send bulk emails to these people again. Also, if someone is marked as
unsubscribed in your MailChimp account, or as “Do now allow bulk email” in your
CRM, they will no longer receive bulk emails, even if they are still in your
CRM marketing lists.
