Can PowerWebTraffic track web traffic on more than one domain?
Absolutely! Simply put the snippet of script at the bottom of any html page and start tracking traffic instantly!
Can PowerWebTraffic and Google Analytics be used on the same website?
Yes. However, Google Analytics will not pull web traffic into your CRM or relate web traffic to your CRM contacts or leads. PowerWebTraffic will.
Does PowerWebTraffic append the tracking token to the ends of all links in all emails sent out of CRM?
If “Regarding” of the email is set to a contact or a lead, the PowerWebTraffic token will be appended to the end of the email. If the regarding isn’t a contact or lead, the token will not be appended to the end of the link.
How do I turn anonymous traffic into known traffic?
When you send an email with a link to a PowerWeb-tracked page from CRM to a contact or lead, and they click on the link in that email, they become known traffic. You can also use PowerMailChimp (our bulk emailing add-on for CRM) to convert anonymous traffic to known traffic, with just a few easy steps – find out how.
Do I have to be a web developer to use PowerWebTraffic?
Absolutely not. Once you register PowerWebTraffic, you will recieve a snippet of code. Send that piece of code to your web developer, and ask them to put it in the footer of your web pages (or on all web pages you’d like to track). No html knowledge needed!
What type of cookies does PowerObjects set? Third or First Party?
PowerObjects sets 1st party cookies. This means that the cookie will come from the website that PowerWebTraffic is deployed on, such as www.mycompany.com.
