Hi, my name is Deb and today I have the pleasure of talking with you about CRM training and reinforcement. It’s never too early to start your CRM training planning. Ensuring that your users have the knowledge necessary to complete their job is critical. Here are a few things to keep in mind. Design training to focus on the day in the life of the user. Think about the end-to-end processes. Are you shifting from paper or a previous CRM system? Also, think about the lens of the user. They’re all coming with different experiences, different experience with technology, different experience with change. Another thing to keep in mind is how you’re going to facilitate your sessions.
Are they going to be in person, virtual, through E-Learning, or a hybrid? Within your training plan, you may choose different methods of facilitation based upon your audience. How do you reinforce CRM training? We recommend that you have internal champions to be able to support the colleagues. Think about processes that need to be rolled out at training or which ones can be rolled out later, maybe at an advanced session. Think about building on the skills as well. How do you help people enable and empower them to continuously learn? Think about ways to have an internal sharing site such as Yammer where users can share tips that they’ve learned along the way.
