PowerObjects is seeking a Senior PMO Manager to join their award-winning team. The Senior PMO Manager supports all projects or programmes within the portfolio, adding value through their knowledge, skills and experience. The Senior PMO Manager will be working centrally within the Operations and PMO team based in Egham, and with the Programme Management Teams on activities such as governance, planning and reporting. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organised, and be able to prioritise multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to governance standards on projects and programmes in line with PowerObjects Proven Process
  • Manage and co-ordinate updates of PowerObjects Proven Process and the associated templates to ensure continuous improvement
  • Liaise with other PMO Consultants as the Central PMO so that standards are implemented consistently across the practice
  • Run Project Implementation Reviews and collate information/reports across the portfolio
  • Manage portfolio level Lessons Learned
  • Manage the portfolio level risks and issues registers
  • Carry out assurance review processes as required (audits etc.)
  • Monitor the change control process, ensuring it is adhered to across all projects and programmes
  • Creation and management of SharePoint/Teams sites and site architectures
  • Creating and administering reporting structures at multiple levels
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: business or IT, IT consulting or professional services, programme co-ordination/administration, IT project management
  • Experience of working within a structured project management framework
  • Experience of multi-tasking and the ability to prioritise work accordingly
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online, preferably as an administrator
  • Excellent reporting skills, ideally using Microsoft PowerBI
  • Working knowledge of business tools – Microsoft Office, Visio, Project and Skype
  • Working knowledge of resource planning tools
  • Interpersonal skills, critical listening, conflict resolution, empathy
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including the ability to tailor communications and convey information in a meaningful way to each type of audience
  • Must be able to work in PowerObjects' Egham office

Desired Skills

  • A degree in IT, general, business, project and or supply chain management
  • Project, programme, bimodal (one or more, coherent modes of IT delivery) IT disciplines
  • Experience dealing with third party suppliers and a contingent workforce
