PowerObjects is seeking an R&D Consultant to join their award winning and growing team. The primary responsibility of the Research & Development team is to develop internal tools, PowerPack/Dynamics 365 add-ons, and applications and plugins. Along with hands-on development, the development team also sets out to research and leverage new technologies, master the Microsoft Dynamics 365 software development kit, and aims to always add value to our delivery team, our customers, and any other individuals within the Dynamics 365 community.

Essential Functions

  • Develop robust systems individually or as a member of a team under guidance from Senior resources including:
  • Dynamics 365 Solutions and Environments
  • PowerObjects IP – PowerPacks, Internal Systems, Vertical systems
  • Microsoft Azure – Web sites / services, SQL databases, storage accounts, web jobs, queues
  • Acquire skillsets on industry standards, intellectual property, and project life cycle:
  • Design patterns and security
  • PowerPack development and other PowerObjects IP
  • Dynamics 365 product lifecycle
  • Team Foundation Server - Backlog / work items, Source control and branch / version management
  • Continuous learning of new technology across all platforms; always being able to add value

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Must be proficient with C# and/or HTML/HTML5
  • Exhibit PowerObjects’ Guiding Principles
  • Must be able to work in Minneapolis, MN Headquarters
