The Microsoft Dynamics AX/Microsoft D365 Consultant will be responsible for consulting on Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 projects including implementations and upgrades. This position is responsible for the hands-on configuration of Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 modules within their specific domain (Finance, Distribution and Trade, Production, Retail, Talent, etc.), as well as assisting clients in the implementation and support of their Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 solutions. Additional responsibilities include helping improve operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement. The Dynamics Consultant will provide functional knowledge and manage client relationships within the context of individual roles. 

Essential Functions

  • Hands-on subject matter expert in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Retail OR Talent
  • Work closely with the client to understand requirements, conduct gap analysis, design, build, configure and test the Dynamics feature/functionality to support those requirements
  • Converting requirements to functional designs, presentations to client and able to translate Dynamics functionality in to business process use in discussion
  • Documenting designs for modifications to core functionality, working with technical resources to test and deliver working features to the clients
  • Play an active role in your area of expertise, and be a point of reference for sharing knowledge and information with colleagues, collaborating to improve internal capability, including training and mentoring of new team members
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with other members of the project team and management as well as external clients
  • Understand and apply PowerObjects Proven Process framework
  • Contribute to PowerObjects high client satisfaction and high standard of service to the client, including potentially managing your work on several concurrent projects

  • Working knowledge of business process best practices
  • Location is home-based with travel to client sites (up to 60%)
