PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) Consultant in Training to join their award winning and growing team. This individual will be trained to act as a liaison between customer and internal teams on Dynamics 365/CRM implementations. After training, the individual may be responsible for one or more aspects of the project including project management, business analysis, configuration, data, training and support. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage small to medium size projects independently
  • Participate in design and architecture sessions with clients
  • Gathers and documents business processes (some current state, mostly future state)
  • Advises customers on best practices for D365/CRM processes, user interface, and architecture
  • Creates Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for the project
  • Writes design specifications pertaining to various aspects of the project
  • Configures and customizes the D365/CRM system based on design specifications
  • Conducts system and end-to-end testing of the application
  • Develops and executes training for customer end-users and administrators
  • Guides the project along through daily communications with the customer
  • Conducts design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes
  • Handling enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous delivery work within a support framework

Required Skills and Experience

  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 2-5 years professional experience, preferably with an up-to-date understanding of business processes and technology, especially related to the operation of sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; meticulous organizational skills
  • Ability to interact with clients at all levels of within an organization
  • Advanced use and working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Project, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.

Desired Skills

  • A techno-functional aptitude to learn the Dynamics 365 platform SDKs, Business Apps, infrastructure, and custom extension architectures
  • Hands-on Dynamics 365 administration, applications, configuration, or customizations experience
  • Prior business analysis, project management, or general technology-focused professional experience
  • Experience and willingness to work with offshore teams to execute project work
