PowerObjects is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Training Consultant to join their award winning and growing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide consulting on Training design and delivery, Implementation and Evaluation of training effectiveness within the context of large-scale deployments of Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations/Customer Engagement). This role will also execute on development of training materials and training client Trainers.

Essential Functions

  • Develop Training Material in line with the Training Curriculum in relevant formats including but not limited to (80%):
  • Instructor PowerPoint decks with instructor notes
  • Training courses
  • Training videos and e-learning
  • Quick reference guides
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of common processes, issues, and technology related to Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement or Finance and Operations
  • Implement and execute Training strategy to required standards as outlined by Client requirements
  • Establish key relationships with project and client teams to manage, report and mitigate risks and issues
  • Deliver end user training or train-the-trainer as required to support the local delivery teams
  • Consult with clients on user adoption best practices and training delivery, including setting and guiding client expectations
  • Learn client systems through communications with our project consulting team, interviewing clients, reading documentation, and hands-on exploration
  • Self-driven weekly investment in continuously developing skills (1-2 hours/week)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement and Finance and Operations or previous versions, from a training perspective
  • Experience partnering with internal project teams to understand solution requirements gathering and design
  • Ability to interpret Solution Design Documents (SDDs) into training deliverables
  • Prior experience creating and implementing training strategy, according to client requirements
  • Strong eye for detail

  • Passion for self-driven professional growth around Microsoft Business Applications
  • Must be able to travel within the UK and internationally for extended periods of time, when required
  • Delivery of training on a technology-driven transformation initiative, preferably for a Microsoft Dynamics programme
  • Technical aptitude – knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics for Customer Engagement or Finance and Operations
  • Ability to quickly understand business context and operations
  • Organisational and planning skills to manage time and to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Exposure to change management
  • Natural aptitude and personality for training, including ability to communicate clearly, organise thoughts while speaking, and control delivery of information
  • Ability to adapt training to audience
  • Excellent experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project), plus eLearning Authoring tools, such as Camtasia, Captivate, or Storyline

Desired Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate relevant work experience in Microsoft Dynamics (Customer Engagement/Finance and Operations/CRM/AX) deployments
  • CIPD or other relevant up-to-date training certification
  • Additional change management or project management qualifications or training a plus, such as PROSCI, CMI, APMG
