PowerObjects is seeking a Change Management Consultant to join their award winning and growing team. The Change Management Consultant will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives focused on employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Management Consultant will work to drive faster adoption and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization and value creation.


Essential Functions

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Assess the change impact
  • Complete change management assessments
  • Create change management strategy
  • Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Support communication efforts
  • Support training efforts
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Guide managers and supervisors
  • Coordinate efforts with other Consultants
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan through collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Track and report issues to the Project Manager
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • All Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (within 6 months of employment)

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
