PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Learning Consultant to join our award-winning and growing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide consulting on change management, communication, and training within the context of a CRM implementation. This role will also execute on development of training materials, as well as on training client trainers or end-users. This role supports the Education pillar and reports into the Adoption & Sustainment team.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of common processes, issues, and technology related to operation of a sales, marketing, and customer service departments
  • Maintain expertise of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application
  • Consult clients on user adoption best practices, change management, communication, and training planning
  • Create training strategy and plans
  • Learn client systems through communications with our consulting team, interviewing clients, reading documentation, and hands-on exploration
  • Work in tight collaboration with our consulting team to provide estimates for training efforts, as well as project status, and resource plans
  • Create training materials for client projects which may include: Instructor PowerPoint decks with instructor notes, Classroom labs, Instructor guides including demonstration scripts, Quick reference guides or eBooks in Word document format, Scripts for videos and/or creation of videos, Interactive learning tutorials using eLearning development systems, and Knowledge checks
  • Train client trainers and end-users utilizing the materials we have created
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and modify plans as needed
  • Assist with presales estimating for training on projects
  • Participate in other functions of the Adoption & Sustainment Team

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Identified Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (within 6 months of employment)
  • Exhibit PowerObjects’ Guiding Principles
  • Technical aptitude – knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or ability to learn
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Experience with large-scale deployments of CRM
  • Experience with change management (PROSCI preferred) and group facilitation
  • Highly organized and prepared for each training
  • Natural aptitude and personality for training, including ability to speak clearly, organize thoughts while speaking, and control one’s own delivery of information
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Travel up to 75%
