PowerObjects, an HCL Technologies Company is seeking a Change Management and Learning Consultant to join their award-winning and growing team. The Change Management and Learning Consultant will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives focused on employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Management and Learning Consultant will work to drive faster adoption and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization and value creation. This role supports the Education pillar and reports into the Adoption and Sustainment team.


Essential Functions

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of common processes, issues, and technology related to operation of a sales, marketing, and customer service departments
  • Maintain expertise of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application
  • Consult clients on user adoption best practices, change management, communication, and training planning
  • Create change management strategy
  • Create actionable deliverables for the change management levers: communications plan, sponsor and stakeholder engagement plan, training plan, and sustainment plan
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Assess and develop plans to manage change impact to users
  • Complete change management assessments
  • Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Learn client systems through communications with our consulting team, interviewing clients, reading documentation, and hands-on exploration
  • Work in tight collaboration with our consulting team to provide estimates for change management and training efforts, as well as project status, and resource plans.
  • Facilitate communication efforts

  • Integrate change management activities into project plan through collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness

  • Track and report issues to the Project Manager

  • Participate in other functions of the Adoption and Sustainment team

Required Skills and Experience

  • Exhibit the PowerObjects Guiding Principles
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus
  • Technical aptitude – knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or ability to learn
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

  • Travel up to 75%
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • All Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (within 6 months of employment)
