Most definitely! When an email is tracked back to CRM through the CRM Outlook plug-in, PowerAttachment will pick up on any attachments and send them to SharePoint.

PowerAttachment works with notes! If you add an attachment in a note on any entity (as long as it is not an Excluded Entitiy) the solution will push that document to SharePoint.

PowerAttachment will store all documents moved by the solution under the Document Library that is defined in the Setup. Within this document library PowerAttachment will create a file structure of Year > Month > Date, so that users can easily find documents based off of the day that they were moved to SharePoint.

Users can check multiple areas to see if the attachments are moving, the record where an attachment was placed, SharePoint, or by doing an Advanced Find of the attachment process.

To create the Advanced Find, open an Advanced Find window and change the Look For to entity you are checking, either PowerAttachmentProcessQueueEmails or PowerAttachmentProcessQueueNotes. Then add columns for Error Message, Status, and Status Reason before viewing Results.

You will now be able or view the flagged attachments and if they’ve moved, are waiting to be processed, or if there were any errors.

Once you have configured PowerAttachment, the solution will move all new attachments in the CRM system to your SharePoint site automatically every 5 minutes.

When configuring PowerAttachment, you are able to define which document types you would like PowerAttachment to work with under the Setup Tab. On the Setup page of configuration there is a field listed as Attachment Types; any document types listed here will automatically be pushed to SharePoint by PowerAttachment.

Once PowerAttachment is imported, you will notice a new section called PowerAttachments on your email activity form. This section will hold all of the links to the attachments that were moved by PowerAttachment.
