If you are experiencing performance issues with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you may be going through the process of optimizing your Dynamics CRM performance. At a basic level, you should add the Microsoft Dynamics CRM websites as trusted sites in your browser. Adding a website, like those on your organization’s intranet or those owned by established companies, means you believe that files you download and run from the website will not damage your computer or data. In Internet Explorer, no web sites are assigned to this “trusted sites zone” by default, and the security level is set to “low.” However, that extra level of protection can also slow system performance.
Examples of website that may need to be added to trust sites include
- https://*.crm.dynamics.com and
- https://*.live.com to their list of trusted sites.
Below are the instructions for adding your CRM URL to the trusted sites using Internet Explorer.
1. In Internet Explorer, navigate to ToolsàInternet Options. A window pops up containing multiple tabs. Under the Security Tab, click Trusted sites and then the Sites button.
2. In the pop-up window type the trusted site names (https://*.crm.dynamics.com and https://*.live.com), one at a time, and click Add.
That’s all there is to it. Now you know how to add trusted sites to optimize Dynamics CRM performance—enjoy the performance boost!
