Window was unable to open, and may have been blocked by a Pop-up blocker in Microsoft Dynamics CRM

People might encounter this error frequently or after installing IE 8 with the Outlook CRM client.

There could be 2 reasons for this error.

  1. If you installed IE 8, then there is a setting in the Internet zone that is set by default

    This setting should be unchecked.

  2. Another reason could be that Internet Explorer is not set as the default browser. Always make sure, IE is set as the default browser and check for the prompt which will be shown when IE is not the default browser.
