Error Sub-report could not be shown

Post Author: Joe D365 |

Typically we see this error when the link from the sub-report has been broken to the parent report. To resolve this issue follow the steps below:

Re-Link the sub-report to the parent report

  1. Select the sub-report from the report list. Click on the Edit Report button

2. Use the parent report lookup field to associate the sub report with the parent report

3. Save and close the report

4. Test by running the sub-report

  1. Hi Joe, we have a similar issue but relinking the parent child is not helping, instead some change to database is relinking the reports, and totally confused, restarting the box also didn't help. any thoughts on this will be much appreciated
