Press Release: PowerObjects Customer, Dow Chemical, Receives Customer Excellence Award for Cloud Transformation

PowerObjects is proud to announce that their customer, Dow Chemical, has been recognized by Microsoft with the 2014 Cloud Transformation Award as part of the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Awards program. They will be honored by Microsoft executives at an awards luncheon on Wednesday, March 5, at Convergence 2014 in Atlanta, the premier Microsoft Dynamics user conference.

The 2014 Customer Excellence Awards, which are presented in a multitude of categories, recognize and celebrate Microsoft Dynamics customers that have achieved notable accomplishments using their Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

Established in 1997, the Customer Excellence Awards are awarded each year at the Convergence user conference in the United States. Microsoft Dynamics is a line of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management solutions that help businesses work more effectively.

Dow Chemical connects chemistry and innovation with the principles of sustainability to help address many of the world's most challenging problems such as the need for clean water, renewable energy generation and conservation, and increasing agricultural productivity.

Working with PowerObjects, Dow Chemical successfully completed a large-scale migration to Dynamics CRM Online while simultaneously migrating all of their Office 365 technologies and productivity tools to the cloud. Additionally, Dow Chemical implemented single sign-on functionality using ADFS and DirSync to Office 365.

“Dow Chemical’s migration to cloud technology represents one of the largest migrations in the history of Dynamics CRM,” says Jim Sheehan, COO at PowerObjects. “PowerObjects is proud to have played such a crucial role in this major transition.”

As a gold sponsor for Convergence 2014, PowerObjects will be staffing booth #2321 with 30 team members at the Convergence Expo from March 4-7. Staff will be on deck to talk with customers and prospects, demo add-ons and enhancements to Dynamics CRM, and host daily giveaways. PowerObjects will also be participating in sponsored speaking engagements. Director of Education Gretchen Opferkew will be hosting a Q&A discussion with Microsoft Dynamics CRM MVPs, and Marketing Automation Practice Director Nick Wassenberg will be presenting on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Marketing.
