PowerObjects Releases Newest Version of Power8CRM, a Windows 8 App for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

PowerObjects, 2012 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner of the Year, released its third major update of Power8CRM, a Windows 8 app for Dynamics CRM. PowerObjects developed this companion app for Microsoft Dynamics CRM users who have Windows 8 platforms like the Surface tablet.

“Windows 8 gives us an entirely new way to approach content, enabling us to build applications that entice the user in,” says Dean Jones, CEO of PowerObjects. “It’s not just about data anymore—it’s about processes. We designed Power8CRM to be process-centric—to draw people in and give them the critical information they need to take action.”

Power8CRM Release 3 hit the Windows Store December 6, 2012 and can be downloaded for free on any Windows 8 tablet. New features include a live start screen tile with dynamic information, lead qualification from within the app, and integration with the PowerGlobalSearch add-on for Dynamics CRM.

The app makes use of additional Dynamics CRM add-ons developed by PowerObjects, including PowerWebTraffic and PowerPhoto. Users who have these add-ons installed for their CRM will be able to take advantage of enhanced functionality within Power8CRM.

“Mobile CRM is the future,” says Jones. “If you’ve got a Windows 8 tablet, you don’t need to haul around your laptop to get real-time information. This is a fast, efficient way to get the information you need, whether you want to remind yourself what a prospective client looks like in the parking lot before your meeting, or you want to assign someone a task in CRM on the fly.”

PowerObjects is continually updating Power8CRM features and functions. For more information and to download the app, go to the Power8CRM download page.
