Marketing Data Analyst

Summary

PowerObjects is seeking a dedicated Marketing Data Analyst to join their award winning and growing team. This role is responsible for improving PowerObjects’ lead campaigns and be the go between for sales and marketing departments when discussing lead generation and the marketing around CRM leads. The right candidate for this role will possess a natural inclination to track data and ensure the accuracy of the data.

Essential Functions

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital content, properties, and campaigns
Provide marketing team with KPIs to identify areas for improvement
Track campaigns against defined KPIs
Analyze and report ROI for all campaigns
Evaluate product offerings, traffic, landing page quality, content, design, and demographics of customers
Analyze and report on PowerObjects’ foreign and domestic content success
Handle all domestic and foreign lead funnel items including our add-ons PowerScore and PowerNurture
Partner with Director Customer Success to implement influencer strategies with current clients to gain word-of-mouth success
Develop a demand generation process for marketing team
Create campaigns and testing strategies across digital properties to measure and increase the number of users who take the defined desired action
Create an outreach plan to optimize PowerObjects’ content, including partnering with marketing specialists and video team to create content that fits the campaign strategy
Update all nurture campaigns as needed
Partner with event team to maximize leads from events
Serve as the point contact in marketing department for sales team when discussing leads and CRM
Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify consumer needs, channel preferences, and areas of opportunity to generate testing hypotheses, including conducting user experience analysis and surveys to collect data for hypothesis formation and validation
Drive individual tests from initial hypotheses through execution, translating results into actionable insights and recommendations
Review website analytics to understand current and historical situations
Apply SEO best practices to develop strategic recommendations to consistently improve our online marketing efforts
Run pay-per-click campaigns as needed
Improve organic search results for targeted keywords
Ensure websites are filled with optimal keywords and track performance over time
Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines
Consult with other team members/web designers to improve the navigation of a site to enhance its search engine ranking

Required Skills and Experience

Exhibit PowerObjects’ Core Values
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing related data analytics
Proficient in Google Analytics and Webmaster tools. GA Certification a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exhibit a passion for with collecting, tracking, and analyzing data
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data
A proven record of meeting deadlines, accurate reporting and excellent time management skills
