CRM University Trainer


The primary responsibility of the CRM University Trainer is to provide technical trainings for public offerings as well as private training for customers. This role may also support development of custom training within customer projects, as well as devilment and maintenance of free educational materials such as blogs, videos, and the CRM Book.

Essential Functions

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of common processes, issues, and technology related to operation of a sales, marketing, and customer service departments
Maintain expertise of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application through ongoing consumption of blogs and online resources—especially as new versions are released
Learning and teaching advanced topics such business intelligence (e.g. SSRS, PowerBI), advanced processes, and extending CRM.
Learning and teaching additional technologies such as field service, project service, unified service desk (USD) portals, marketing solutions, PowerObjects PowerPack, and mobile technologies.
Work with clients to plan onsite CRM University training delivering including planning logistics, travel, and customizing the agenda for the client.
Assist the CRM University team with updates of CRM University curriculum, which may include development of new labs, updating materials based on new versions, or addition of instructor notes, improving the classroom content for better learner experience
Develop new curriculum and course offerings that add value to clients.
Develop how-to videos, as needed by the team
Document team processes and knowledge sharing in OneNote
Write chapters for the CRM Book and help maintain it
Teaching an internal class for PowerObjects University
Promoting education through webinars and online video content (e.g. the CRM Minute)
Participating in weekly team meetings and actively listening to issues and contributing ideas
Distributing information on the latest CRM-related and technology news to the team members
Writing blogs on the latest features and discoveries or
Reviewing blogs created by the rest of the company

Key Measurements of Performance

Bachelor’s Degree
All Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (within 3 months of employment)

Required Skills and Experience

Technical aptitude – knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or ability to self-teach new technologies
Collaborative and willing to share information within the Education team
Highly organized and prepared for each training
Natural aptitude and personality for training, including ability to speak clearly, organize thoughts while speaking, and control one’s own delivery of information
Ability to adapt presentation to the audience
Travel up to 50%
