Sophicity was looking to formulate a cloud strategy that would include moving their existing on-premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 solution online.

As part of their evaluation process, the company considered other cloud-based CRM solutions including Ultimately Sophicity chose Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 online for a number of reasons. “It was a no-brainer for us. Due to the flexibility of CRM and familiarity we already had using the solution internally, it was important that we stay on the Microsoft platform. In addition, the CRM 2011 online subscription-based pricing was well within our budget and less than half the cost of other online solutions that we evaluated,” he added. Another consideration was the confidence they had in PowerObjects and their ability to migrate the company’s on-premise solution online quickly and easily. “We were looking for a partner who had the knowledge and hands-on expertise to move a company from CRM on-premise to CRM online. We quickly discovered that PowerObjects were the experts in CRM. They went the extra-mile in showing how the migration would work within our business and we were very impressed with their approach.”

As an IT service provider, we wanted to focus more of our time and IT resources servicing our customers and less time managing CRM on-premise. As new updates would become available for our existing CRM, we found it difficult to keep up with the roll-outs as well as train our users on the new enhancements. We realized that implementing a cloud-based CRM solution would eliminate the administration required and allow us to focus our IT resources on serving our customers.
