Press Release: Microsoft Discontinues Dynamics CRM Internet Lead Capture Tool

PowerObjects, a professional services firm 100% focused on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, will be hosting a webinar on the PowerWebForm add-on for Dynamics CRM Online to educate users looking to replace Microsoft’s discontinued internet lead capture tool. The webinar will take place on Thursday, January 17 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am CST. Those interested can register here.

Microsoft’s internet lead capture tool was designed to automatically capture lead data—the information collected when a visitor fills out a form on a website—and enter it as a lead record in Dynamics CRM. It allowed users to easily track new leads and send automated emails from Dynamics CRM.

“Since Microsoft’s lead capture tool has been disabled, many Dynamics CRM users have been looking for a replacement solution,” says Cecilie Svensgaard, manager of PowerObjects’ suite of add-ons. “We want to let people know that even though this tool has been disabled, we’ve got a great product that can capture web form leads from your website and instantly pull them into your Microsoft Dynamics CRM.”

PowerWebForm performs many of the same functions as the internet lead capture tool by Microsoft. PowerWebForm lets CRM users easily build web forms inside their Dynamics CRM system, post that web form to their website, and start collecting leads quickly.

PowerObjects has developed over a dozen Microsoft Dynamics CRM add-ons that enhance functionality for marketing, sales, productivity and more. All of PowerObjects’ add-ons are available for a free 30-day trial. Those interested can download PowerWebForm from the PowerObjects website.
