This post will show what caused the “missing prvCreatePlugin Type” error message when you try to register plug-in.
Here is the error when it is failed to register new assembly:
This “missing prvCreatePlugin” error is due to lack of privilege. To register new plug-in, “System Customizer” security role is not enough. You need to be System Administrator. Check your security role when you encounter this “missing prvCreatePlugin” issue.
Go to Settings-Administration-Users:
Find your name in the user list and double click on it. Click on “Security Roles” and check if you have “System Administrator” Security Role:
Missing System Administrator role will cause Plug-in register failure. Once “System Administrator” role is added for you, the “missing prvCreatePlugin Type” error will be disappeared and your plug-in register should be successfully.
