Configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook

Whether you are just getting started with Microsoft Dynamics CRM using Outlook or you’ve been set up for a while, it is always nice to tweak your settings for maximum performance. Configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook for optimal performance is important so that your PC doesn’t get bogged down with unnecessary amounts of data syncing.

    But you didn’t show us how to OPTIMIZE crm for outlook… what are the best practices for the filters? for the min sync time?

    It all depends on what your personal needs are. The more filters are activated and the more frequently the system is set to synchronize, the more bogged down your computer will be. It’s best to only sync what you need and as infrequently as possible. Usually syncing every 60 minutes will be fine and what information you want to sync is based on your needs.
