You call that a sale process? It’s time to look at Microsoft Dynamic CRM

I haven’t written a blog post in a while and after seeing an e-mail promoting a competitive product I felt I had to write a short post.

On this competitor web site they state that they are different than SFA or CRM systems. Marketing 101, create a dragon and slay it. Their dragon is “Sales” and why you are not getting the sales you want. They claim CRM systems consist of the following:

Create an Opportunity, How big is it, who is working on it, when is it closing. They imply that CRM systems now make a leap of faith on how you get to the “sale”.

If you’re using Microsoft Dynamics CRM you know that this is not the case at all. You can model “your sales process”. You are not forced into a particular sales process, but are open, dynamic in your process. It can change with you as you better define your business.

On the competitors web site they point out that you don’t need a leap of faith with their system. They have a process that works (at least for them). Process as follows: What to do next, what conversations to have, where is the buyer in the buying process and provide the shortest path to closing the deal.
