Have you ever sent an email from CRM, and wondered whether the recipient ever opened the email, and whether or not they clicked on links within that email? Well, wonder no more! With our CRM email tracking add-on, PowerEmail, you can now track whether or not emails were opened, and which URLs were clicked on within that email, all, of course, within CRM!
- Subscription Price: $1/user/month
- System Requirements: CRM 2011 Online or CRM 2011 On-premise with Internet Facing (ADFS)
What does PowerEmail track exactly?
This Dynamics CRM email tracking add-on will track every time someone clicks on a link in an email sent from CRM, tell you the first time someone opened the email, the last time they opened it, which URLs they click on, and when they clicked on those URL’s.
How can I tell if someone opens my e-mail?
Using PowerEmail will insert an image into the e-mail and the CRM will get updated when the e-mail is opened and the image is downloaded. The default image is the PowerObjects logo, but you can upload a logo and have it inserted at the bottom of the e-mail.
Do I have to show an image to track if an e-mail is open?
No. You have to attach an image, but it can be a small transparent image. It’s common to use a company logo at the bottom of the e-mail.
Does the tracking image have to be at the bottom of the page?
No. You can insert an image anywhere in the e-mail by inserting a token where you want the image inserted. The default token is |potoken|.
Can I track click-throughs with your CRM email tracking add-on?
Yes. PowerEmail will replace all URL’s with a new URL that will track and redirect to the true URL. You can view all the click through data in CRM.
How does a recipient unsubscribe from my emails?
PowerEmail will add an unsubscribe link to every e-mail that is being tracked. A recipient can click on the unsubscribe link, which will then set the “Bulk Email” radio button in CRM to “Do Not Allow”.
Does PowerEmail track all emails sent from CRM?
PowerEmail will track the opens and click of any email sent out of CRM, as long as the “Regarding” is set to a contact or a lead.
I’ve installed PowerEmail, and now I have the PowerObjects logo at the bottom of all of my outgoing emails. Why?
The image at the bottom of the email is how PowerEmail tracks whether or not the email was opened. If you have not set up a custom image to be used there, it will default to the PowerObjects logo. To set up a custom image, please follow the steps in the PowerEmail Import Guide.
