PowerBarCode allows users to create barcode images right from within CRM! Insert a barcode into an e-mail or report. A very simple control within CRM provides the ability to easily insert QR Code, Matrix, Linier Barcode or PDF code.
- Put a QR code in an email that leads to a special landing page or website
- Send a promotional barcode to a marketing list that gives a discount when scanned
- Static or dynamic barcodes – you decide!
- Subscription Price: $1/user/month
- System Requirements: CRM 2011 Online or CRM 2011 On-premise with Internet Facing (ADFS)
I don’t understand. What does PowerBarCode do?
What happens when the barcode is scanned is up to the software that’s connected to the scanner that scans it in the end. PowerBarCode simply generates a picture based on the specifications input by the user.
If a barcode is scanned, is that tracked in the CRM?
Unfortunetly, no. There are masses of barcode-scanning softwares out there, and the user would need a special integration between that software and their CRM in order for scanned barcodes to be tracked.
What kinds of barcodes does PowerBarCode create?
PowerBarCode can create QR Codes, Matrix Codes, Linear Barcodes, and PDF codes.
How can I use barcodes in my CRM?
PowerBarCode lets you insert barcodes into emails and reports. One use would be to send someone an email from CRM when they register for an event, and ask them to print out that barcode and bring it to the event with them.
